She then pursued her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist by completing a two-year clinic and hospital-based pediatric specialty program at Rutgers, completing her specialist training in 2020. In addition, Dr. Negar also completed her Master of Science in Dentistry with the focus on oral health literacy and is committed to educating parents in her area of expertise. During residency, she won an award for her exemplary contribution to residence wellness and served as the chief resident in her final year.

She regularly pursues continuing education courses to stay informed about the latest innovations in dentistry, such as the use of lasers in treatment, and promoting normal growth and development with emphasis on the importance of early orthodontic intervention. She has completed advanced training in laser dentistry, lip- and tongue-tie release (frenectomy) and multidisciplinary care by collaborating with orthodontic colleagues. Dr. Negar is a member of several organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has practiced in the Randolph area since 2018.

Dr. Negar believes in connecting with children and their parents to create a safe and happy dental home where children can have a positive experience. Her goal is to connect with her patients and get to know them. As a pediatric dentist, the most rewarding part of Dr. Negar’s job is how she can engage with kids and help them find the ability to not only complete their planned treatment but also develop necessary coping skills. This usually takes a lot of coaching, but once accomplished she loves witnessing the sense of pride that children feel, especially after they complete a procedure that they were once scared of.

In her free time, Dr. Negar likes staying active and connected with nature. Her favorite activities are swimming, biking and roller blading, and of course, rehearsing Disney songs.
