Dental Technologies Used in our Office
At Pediatric Dental Associates of Randolph we provide the latest in dental technology that will care for your children's dental needs while providing the least discomfort to all of our  patients. From digital X-rays to invisible orthodontics, Pediatric Dental of Randolph is your total dental care provider.

Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional cardboard film x-rays. The larger image size allows dentists to better educate patients about where problems. In addition, digital x-rays develop instantly, so you don't have to wait for results.

Air Abrasion
This technique employs a miniature sandblaster to remove decay without the use of heat or vibration. Using air abrasion for small to medium sized cavities can be removed without the use of a drill or novocaine.

Madajet XL
The MadaJet XL is a needleless injection system, or pressure syringe. It shoots a very fine stream of lidocaine (novocaine) into the gum with enough pressure to numb the area instantaneously. Many patients feel no pain whatsoever when this technique is used.

PakLight
When the PakLight is used, fillings set ultra-fast - within 5- 10 seconds of application!

Isolight
The Isolight keeps the mouth dry while dental work is being done, which is essential for the placement of white fillings. It also illuminates the area, allowing the dentist to see well.

Sealants
Sealants are a plastic resin that a dentist bonds into the grooves of the chewing surface of a tooth as a means of helping to prevent the formation of tooth decay.

Invisalign
Instead of using braces, many patients' teeth can be straightened by wearing a series of invisible aligners. Visit Invisalign for more information.

Oral Hygiene Suggestions
Brush teeth every morning and every night. Do not eat or drink (except water) after nighttime brushing.
By flossing every night by using regular dental floss or dental floss applicators will reduce tooth decay and prevent cavities.
