Brush teeth every morning and every night.

Do not eat or drink (except water) after nighttime brushing.

Floss nightly using regular dental floss or dental floss applicators.

Help your children to brush and floss regularly until they can do a satisfactory job on their own. Using an electric toothbrush may be helpful.

Limit juice consumption to twice daily. We suggest giving your child at least 6 oz of 100% fruit juice. We recommend providing lower sugar content juices such as First Juice which naturally lower in sugar.

Acidic, sugary drinks such as soda, iced tea, and lemonade, should be a special treat limited to once per week.

Avoid sticky snacks such as Fruit Roll-Ups, fruit snacks, Air Heads, potato chips, and Oreo cookies. If consumed brush after.

For extra protection against cavities, a fluoride rinse is recommended after the age of 6 or when your child can rinse without swallowing.

Do not put your baby to bed with a bottle containing anything other than water.
